About

Commercial clarity is not
a design problem.

It's a structural one. BrandAIchemy is a practice built to diagnose and rebuild the system through which e-commerce brands create choice.

What we are

A practice built at the intersection of brand, buyer behaviour, and AI readability.

BrandAIchemy is not a branding agency, a Shopify studio, or an SEO service. It is a commercial clarity practice — a discipline built around one question: why does a brand, store, or product fail to create confident choice in the buyer's mind?

We work with e-commerce brands that are already visible, already active, already investing in optimization — but not converting. Traffic without purchases. Products without decisions. Brands that sound like everyone else in the category.

Our work is diagnostic first and structural second. We identify where choice fails, explain why, connect every observation to commercial consequence, and rebuild the system so that the brand becomes clearly understandable — to buyers, to search engines, and to AI models that increasingly mediate discovery and recommendation.

We are based in London and work internationally with brands on Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, and direct-to-consumer channels.

"Most brands don't have an optimization problem.
They have a clarity problem.
And no amount of optimization fixes an unclear brand."

Founder & Principal

Lana has spent 16 years working inside the commercial logic of e-commerce — not on the edges of it. Starting in 2010, long before the tools became sophisticated, she built a systematic approach to one question: why do brands that look right fail to convert?

In 2018 she founded Ecomlana, which grew into a full-service strategy and education agency through client demand rather than marketing. Since then she has conducted over 1,200 consulting sessions with brands across Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, and direct-to-consumer channels.

BrandAIchemy is the practice she built around her core diagnostic methodology — the structured work of identifying where commercial clarity fails and rebuilding the system that creates it. It is the advisory layer: strategic, diagnostic, and built for brands that need more than optimisation.

Our approach

Three principles
we don't compromise on.

01

Diagnosis before prescription

We don't arrive with a template. Every engagement starts with a structured diagnosis — a precise reading of where choice fails in your specific brand, store, and product logic. We don't recommend before we understand.

02

Commercial consequence, not best practice

Every observation we make is connected to a commercial outcome. Not "your UVP could be clearer" — but "this is why buyers are choosing on price and what it's costing you." Observations without stakes don't change anything.

03

Systems, not tactics

We rebuild the structure through which a brand creates choice — not individual pages or copy blocks. Positioning, trust, product logic, store architecture, and AI readability need to work as one coherent system. Isolated tactics don't fix structural problems.

Why commercial clarity matters now

AI has changed the cost structure of e-commerce marketing. Content, strategy, and optimization are cheaper than ever to produce. The result is a market flooded with brands that are technically well-optimized but commercially indistinguishable.

When every brand uses the same AI-generated research to find the same keywords, write the same copy, and target the same audiences, optimization stops being a differentiator. Clarity becomes one.

A brand with a clear, convincing, and structurally sound reason to be chosen performs better in search, in AI recommendation systems, in paid channels, and in organic conversion — not because it has been optimized differently, but because it actually says something that matters to the right buyer.

That's what BrandAIchemy builds.

£0

The return on optimization applied to a brand without a clear reason to be chosen.

AI

AI doesn't create clarity. It amplifies the signal that's already there — or reveals the absence of one.

1 Q

Every buyer asks one question: why choose this, and not something else? If the brand can't answer it clearly, it loses.
